Function Keys are some important keys that are presents on the top of the keyboard. They are used to perform various functions on the computer system. Today in this post I am going to explain the functions of these Function Keys.

| Uses of Function Key in Windows |
There are total 12 Function Keys present on the keyboard of both PC and Laptop but the main difference between them is:-
• We can easily use the Function Keys present in keyboard of PC
• We can only use the Function Keys present in keyboard of Laptop by pressing the Function Button(Fn)
So let’s get quick knowledge about the uses of these keys without wasting of any time because the time is the most important weapons of any individual.

F1:- It is basically used to open Help Centre.
F2:- It is used to rename any file and folder.
F3:- It is generally used to search any application of your system.
F4:- It is used with Alt key to close any program and also to Shut down of your computer system.
F5:- It is used to Refresh of our system and also used to Run program in most of the application.
F6:- It is used to decrease the volume and also used to jump into a URL while using browser.
F7:- This Function Key is used to checks grammar or spelling in Ms Word or any document file.
F8:- It is used to go to Safe Mode of our computer system and also used to select all the text in MS Word.
F9:- It is used to activates the menu bar of an open application.
F10:- It is used with Shift key to open Shortcut Menu in MS Word.
F11:- It is basically used to open browsers in full screen mode.
F12:- It is used to open Save as Dialog Box in MS office.
These are the some functions of Function Keys . There are lots of function of these keys but I have peek only special one..
